L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Day & Night Cream
Appearance- Packaging is one of the first things I notice when shopping for new beauty products. This product has a metallic like box with a bright hot pink bottle on the front of it. Very eye catching that's for sure! I love how both containers are glass containers which gives them a sleek look. Only problem I came across was the pump on the Serum Concentrate. When trying this product out for the first time I had some trouble getting the pump to cooperate.
Cost-
I found both these products online at Ulta Beauty which would be my store of choice when buying new beauty must haves. TheL'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Day & Night Cream was retailed at $24.99 and the Serum was also $24.99. So this is a $50.00 value which I think this is a bit pricey for me when it comes to my skin care routine.
Fragrance- Doesn't have an overpowering smell which is a plus for me when it comes to skin care products.
One thing I already didn't like is how they only gave me 2 steps in a 3 step regimen. When reading the recommended information on the box they suggest first start with the Youth Code Cleanser. It's fairly inexpensive compered to all the other products only costing $7.99 at Ulta Beauty . So I don't mind picking it up with my own money.

Want to know more about this product? 2 months and I've finally hit the bottom! Both of these products were amazing on my skin. No breakouts at all! The moisturizer feels so nice on my skin! It's more of a thick product but absorbs nicely into the skin. I used them both night and day and they didn't leave my face shiny or oily in any way. I have dry skin and this facial regimen gave me enough moisture without overdoing it. I don't currently have any wrinkles, but I did see improvements in my skins texture and my pores look a million times smaller!

During my un-boxing video I'm sure you all could tell how exciting it is to receive full sized products in the mail. So many people believe that couponing and requesting free mail samples is a waste of time. I'm here to show you all how easy it is to score awesome deals! My first impression was based off the packaging and the contents of my Tryology box.
The idea behind this collection is to create a certain ambiance in your bedroom before you go to sleep at night. I was asked to complete a list of tasks for a few nights using all the products together.
Tips for creating a relaxing bedtime experience:
Make sure you keep your room uncluttered and visually pleasing this will help you forget about cleaning, or anything that you might still have to do. Find the perfect set of sheets and pj's that make you feel the most comfortable. I used the Bedding Refresher on my comforter, pillows, and my sheets. This helped create a calming and relaxing environment that helped me wind down from my hectic day. Keep your bedroom slightly cooler around 68 degrees F this will help your body cool down for the night helping you get to sleep with ease. Put your electronics away for the night these tend to keep your energy levels going and you need to focus on relaxing your mind. Last but not least make sure you set an early bedtime to ensure that you get between 7-8 hrs of sleep.
Cost- Normally I would pick up these products at my local Wal-Mart store. The Fabric Refresher is generally under $5, a pack of (2) Air Effects Room Spray is also under $5, (2) Noticeables Oil Diffuser Refills are under $10, and the bedside diffuser which is very similar to their Set and Refresh is under $3. Overall I think that you get a great value when buying their products. Not only are these products inexpensive but they also get the job done the first time around.
Ease of use- Everything from this line is very easy to use it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure them out. I loved that this was a collection which all tied in together to give you a more relaxing environment. When in combination of spritzing my sheets, spraying the room with the mist, and the oils filling the room with the continuous warm milk and honey scent it seemed almost effortless to create a lovely atmosphere.
Effectiveness- I really enjoyed the Bed Refresher and the Bedroom Mist they smelled amazing all throughout the evening and left my room smelling warm and relaxing. As for the oil diffuser and bedside diffuser after the first night I no longer noticed them. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't puncture a big enough hole in the bedside diffuser when I slid the refill in or not? As I'm writing this review I decided to put it right on my desk next to me and I cannot smell it unless I hold the container right up against my noise. The oil diffuser only produced a noticeable scent when put on the highest setting. Honestly I think that I go through more product that way which makes this product a dud for me. This product also claims to surround you with soothing scent for 30 days I'm not so sure that's the case for my oil diffuser.
Scent- The scent I received in this new collection was the warm milk and honey. I'm not a huge fan of honey scents but I found this products fragrance quite enjoyable. It filled the entire room and defiantly calmed my senses. I'd like to see the other variety of scents are going to be available when this launches.
My thoughts on the Febreze Company-
I'm a huge fan of the Febreze air effects we go through so many cans each year. I love to have my home smelling great I cannot stress that enough. I use it not only in my home but in my car as well! Some of my favorite scents are Thai Dragon Fruit and the Fall limited edition scents. One of the best things about this product is how it truly clears the air as well as smell amazing, and authentic. Febreeze was one of the first mass market home spray deodorizer to address the issue of removing offensive odors not merely masking them. Why would anyone choose a cheaper product that doesn't actually remove the odor? You would just continue to smell the stink with added perfume. Who likes floral garbage smell? Not this lady!

I picked this facial wash system up some time ago at after watching a beauty video by Blair Fowler on her Youtube channel juicystar07 where she raves about this product. I personally did not love this product at all it didn't work out with my sensitive skin and dried me out big time. I was excited to use this product because of it's automatic dispensing feature. My biggest issue with facial cleansers is how easily they can over dry my skin by using the wrong amount of product. After watching her video and hearing how it dispensed the right amount without over drying her skin I was interested in giving it a shot. My kit came with the Clearasil dispenser along with two of their facial cleansers Superfruit Splash & Soothing Plant Extracts. Loved- Automatic sensor gives me the perfect amount limiting wasting product, but still over dried my skin for some reason. Sleek look of the dispenser, and I loved how it didn't take up to much space on my sink. Both cleansers smelled clean and fresh Smooth, refreshing, and makes your face feel cleaner after use Small amount lathers nicely Clearasil automatic dispenser alone is worth the purchase price $7.10 - $24.99 Hated- That it requires you use the special-designed refills (I figured a way around this!) When used both night and day it over dried my skin even when rotating between the two cleansers. Only has two refill options so if they both don't work out for you this entire system was a waste of money
But wait! After almost a year of sitting in my beauty cabinet I decided to see if I could re-purpose this dispenser. While cleaning out all my empties this almost found it's way to the trash can. I guess I was hoping that Clearasil would have came out with a better formula? Well bright idea came to mind and I decided to try and pop the top off the refill container and empty the contents to see if it could be refilled with my current cleanser. It worked out like a charm! And I had no problems using my Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser for almost 3 months in it. Let me know if you want me to make a vlog on how to do this it's so simple to do and now you have a dispenser for any product your loving!
