April Freebies 4/19-4/26

I haven't been as active this week as I usually am we had a lot going on that's for sure! Had Pre-K registration, a visit to the pediatrician, and bought a new car. Ohh I forgot to mention how I stepped on a nail the other night and I have been feeling not so great sense. I punctured it really deep and never thought it would be this painful. Thankfully my foot is starting to heal the not so fun part is staying inside on a perfect beach day. Ok now lets get into the freebies shall we!

Swaggable sent me my first sample to review which I had a laugh about.. It's a all natural petroleum jelly alternative called Waxelene. What's so great about this product is the fact that it is a petroleum jelly alternative so no petroleum! It contains only natural & organic ingredients that help moisturize, protect, and soothe skin all in one! 

Influencer is another new one for me I just signed up (it's free!) and did all my surveys to unlock my badges and receded my first sample! This one was a 2-in-1 product a body was and shampoo product by Ivory.

When they ask you for what industry you work for select other, then you can choose student or homemaker. My husband and I have a small business together so I use our business information personally. My 1st Monthly Subscription! Must Have Popsugar's Monthly Favorites

I have been wanting to get a monthly subscription forever in a day now! I first stumbled upon the concept on other beauty guru YouTube channels and thought it would be something fun to try out. Most of the monthly box subscription services that I'm familiar with come out with monthly boxes filled with a variety of sample size products like Glambag and Birchbox. I hear that those type subscriptions tend to be a hit or miss leaving a ton of unhappy customers so I left that idea on the back burner. On one of my restless nights I landed on one of my fav beauty guru duos channel eleventhgorgeous  they had a few first impression videos on a monthly subscription company called Popsugar which I have never heard of until now. What is it all about??

First Impression: NYX Cosmetics Haute Jersey Palette

After doing my first impression post on Eyes Lip Face Cosmetics I got a bunch of suggestions on other inexpensive cosmetic companies like ELF to try out. NYX Cosmetics was one of the most recommended and I know that Ulta usually has buy one get one 50% off every now and again on their products. I missed out on the sale going on over at Ulta so I decided to look else where for some of their products. I wanted to try out a few things out so I narrowed it down to one of the most popular palettes that way I could get a feel for the company before splurging on a bunch of full sized products. This one was a summery themed palette with a bunch of bronzers, eyeshadows, blushes, and two lip products. The box it came in was gold covered in cute leapord print which I absolutely adore! When trying to figure out the exact names to everything I hit a tiny roadblock because the box didn't have much information on it and the lip products had no sticker on the bottom?? So if you know what shades and colors these are please leave it in the comment section below!

As a huge animal lover I steer clear of companies who test their products on animals so I was really exited to find out that this company does not! NYX Cosmetics is certified and acknowledged by organizations, such as PETA, as a cruelty free brand and they are completely committed to producing 100% cruelty-free cosmetics. None of their raw materials or finished products are ever tested on animals. 

Pros: 

• inxepensive and you get a varitey of products
• cute packaging!
• tons of bronzers to choose from which are for the most part pretty matte with a tiny bit of shimmer
• matte lip glosses not sticky and have great color pay off
• blushes have great pigmentation & a tiny bit goes a long way

Cons:

• eye shadows have poor pigmentation purple shades especially!

I got this for a steal on amazon from Blue Scandal's Online shop for under $13 but they have it for $13.49 with free shipping if you order $25 worth of products fulfilled by amazon. My order came super quick nothing was broken or damaged during shipping. If you check out their online shop they do offer a bunch of NYX products. I would love to try out the The Crimson Amulet collection inspired by the movie Dark Shadows I think it was a limited edition so I will probably order it on their site. I also here that they have amazing lip sticks and matte bronzers so that will be on my list!
