Elf Beauty Bundle (October 2013) Updated Reviews!!

What came inside my October Beauty Bundle!

Update: When it comes to e.l.f cosmetics I feel that there are a lot of hit or miss items! Luckily I was able to try several of their products for FREE after winning a 6 month subscription to their beauty bundle off of their Facebook page. Awesome right! After using these products for a few months I'm now able to give you my full review on these products.

e.l.f. Essential Beauty School 4-Piece Nail Polish Set ($5)

- I love nail polish so I was so excited about this set, but let me tell you they are not worth it in my opinion. The polish was waxy on my nail and took forever to dry.

Eyeshadow Book  Classic ($5)

- I loved how this had some neutral tones in it! These colors blend beautifully and I have minimal fall out. The pigmentation is pretty good for such an inexpensive pallet. Something I can suggest is using a eye primer prior to applying your shadow this will help the colors really pop!

e.l.f. Mineral Blush- Bliss ($5)

- This blush is seriously the best coral color and 
it feels amazing on my skin. Pigmentation on this 
mineral blush is decent and last throughout the day
on my non-oily skin.  

 e.l.f. Studio Defining Mascara ($3)

- Let me tell ya I'm not a fan of their mascaras at all!
If I was in a pinch and had no other mascara then maybe
I'd reach for this. 

e.l.f. Studio Daily Moisture Stick ($6)

- I have a few of these now they came in almost all of my beauty boxes. I'm so careful when it comes to putting certain products on my face because I tend to have sensitive skin. I used this only a handful of times and it feels nice on my skin and didn't break me out. I'm just not a stick moisturizer person apparently. It had no wow factor for me. 

e.l.f. Studio Corrective Concealer ($3)

- I'm going to be honest I've only used the yellow color in this pallet. I put it in my under eye area and use the v shape under my eye to cover dark
circles and brighten my under eye area. It's super
blendable and doesn't cake up at all.

e.l.f. Essential Shine Eraser ($1)

I'm never shiny or oily so I could not find a use for these?

They are super thin and packaged in a small box for easy on the go use.

e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick - Movie Star ($2)

I love these! They remind me of the chubby sticks! They glide right on and the pigmentation is on point. I have a few of these and something that I noticed is some have a weird menthol smell which in
my opinion I could live without. 

e.l.f Professional 6 Piece Brush Set ($10)

These brushes are so much nicer then the white ones elf carries. These brushes are soft and fluffy but keep in mind that they don't hold up forever so if your looking for a set that will last longer then a year I'd skip on these.

Tryology Unboxing! L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate and Day & Night Cream

If you follow my blogger, facebook, or even just my Youtube channel you know I love doing unboxings for you all! L'Oreal selected only a few Tryology members to try out  their new Youth Code Texture Perfector collection before anyone else. I was given the chance to try out this new product for FREE! Anyone can sign up to become a member it's completely free to join. Once you become a member you can apply for certain programs that are needing Tryologist. All you have to do is take a short survey to see if you're the right fit for the program.  I checked  to see if this was a TOP SECRET PRODUCT which I found out it wasn't so I will be making separate videos for Expo TV & my Youtube Channel.

What came in my Tryology box- 

• L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate 

• L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Day & Night Cream 

Appearance- Packaging is one of the first things I notice when shopping for new beauty products. This product has a metallic like box with a bright hot pink bottle on the front of it. Very eye catching that's for sure! I love how both containers are glass containers which gives them a sleek look. Only problem I came across was the pump on the Serum Concentrate. When trying this product out for the first time I had some trouble getting the pump to cooperate. 

Cost- 

 I found both these products online at Ulta Beauty which would be my store of choice when buying new beauty must haves. The L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Day & Night Cream was retailed at $24.99 and the Serum was also $24.99. So this is a $50.00 value which I think this is a bit pricey for me when it comes to my skin care routine. 

Fragrance- Doesn't have an overpowering smell which is a plus for me when it comes to skin care products.

One thing I already didn't like is how they only gave me 2 steps in a 3 step regimen. When reading the recommended information on the box they suggest first start with the Youth Code Cleanser. It's fairly inexpensive compered to all the other products only costing $7.99 at Ulta Beauty . So I don't mind picking it up with my own money.

2 weeks later! Mini Review Time!

2 Month Update!!!

Want to know more about this product? 2 months and I've finally hit the bottom! Both of these products were amazing on my skin. No breakouts at all! The moisturizer feels so nice on my skin! It's more of a thick product but absorbs nicely into the skin. I used them both night and day and they didn't leave my face shiny or oily in any way. I have dry skin and this facial regimen gave me enough moisture without overdoing it. I don't currently have any wrinkles, but I did see improvements in my skins texture and my pores look a million times smaller!
